Day 2. Eaton Park.

Monday. Nanny, Grandad, Em (9 in 11 days!) Joe (6)

If you live in the Norwch area, I'm sure you know about Eaton Park. A large, popular park with loads of facilities for all ages.

Good bits:

Playground has 2 areas, for older and younger children.
The play area is covered in sand, making it a giant sand pit, so take your buckets and spades.
The sand is clean!
The large grassy areas are great for picnics and ball games.
These are spread out so there is plenty of space for everyone.
There are toilets.
There is a cafe, which is usually open.
Loads of paths for bike riding, scootering, hide and seek!
Lots of free parking. (There are 2 car parks.)

Other extras:

Model train runs on Sundays for certain times of the year.
Tennis courts.
Bowling.
Pitch and putt.
Boating lake.
Fish pond.
Skate park.
Bike race track.
Footaball nets.
(I have probably missed things off here!)

Bad points:

The playground can get really busy in peak times.
Bit of a walk from playground to toilets.
Car parks also get busy.
Because it is a big play area, I found it a bit overwhelming when my 2 were younger, to be able to keep an eye on both children at the same time.

Children's score:

Em: 9/10
Joe: 10/10
Me: 9/10
