Day 3: Nicholas Everitt Park. Oulton Broads.

Tuesday: Me, Em (9 in 10 days!)Joe (6) Nanny and Grandad, Auntie, Matty (3) Alex (9months)

We decided to have a family get together today and needed somewhere that suited a lot of different ages. This part of the broads offers a lot of different things for little cost.

Good bits:

A big play area with a lot of equipment, some of it unusual too. There is also a good range of equipment, so all the children were happy.
The toilets are very close by.
Right next to the broads, so lots of things to look at.
Plenty of open space near by for picnics etc.
Benches for the adults.
Paths for walking/pushing pushchairs on.
Off the car park there is a Pets corner. (This costs extra)
Lots of places to buy ice creams and drinks.

Bad bits:

Plenty of car parking but it is pay and display. 85p per hour appox.

Scores:

Em: 10/10
Joe: 2/10 (This was because he was in a bad mood because he didn't want to come home.
Me: 10/10

N. B The pub by the roundabout was doing carveries - 2 for £10!!
